I’m Principal Product Strategist (and Head of Digital Customer Experience) at Tesco, working in the Digital Product Group based in London.
Before joining Tesco I was Director, GOV.UK at the Government Digital Service, a team formed within the Cabinet Office in 2011 to make UK government digital services and information simpler, clearer and faster. I worked at the BBC for many years in strategy, local journalism and digital services. Further details of my career history are on my LinkedIn profile.
I am also a Non-Executive Director of the not for profit organisation Media For Development and a parent governor at St Nicolas Church of England Academy in Nuneaton.
I use Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr infrequently, and in a personal capacity.
I’ve been writing and recording music since 1999 in the band Satchel Blue and we’re still not famous. Our Best Of album was released in 2015
I also enjoy taking photographs, going running, camping holidays with the family, and finding, then drinking, great whisky.
